Casa P
Transformation of an apartment from the sixties into a modern home equipped with all modern amenities.
The house - located in the center of Vicenza - had a typical design layout of the time: a large entrance hall of large but lacking in practicality and a generous distribution corridor, obsolete and far from contemporary needs.
Based on the customer’s requirements, it was decided to transform the entrance into a single open-space environment characterized by the use of colour - a warm brown - and by the custom designed bookcase integrated into the fireplace. This way it has been obtained a spacious and comfortable two bedroom apartment, to which you could easily add a third bedroom.
The house also has two large bathrooms, one of which has an accessible shower of the same size as the old service bathroom. All the furniture, in addition to the library, has been tailor made designed and the refurbishment also foresaw for the complete remodeling of the water and electrical installation.

Complejo residencial "San Martino"
The project proposes the restructuring and architectural recovery of a series of buildings initially intended for residential use, portico and stable now converted into luxury housing.
The project of the San Martino Residential Complex proposes the recovery and reform of a group of buildings, initially private, connected through a portico with an annex stable. After the intervention, three luxury homes have been obtained.
The objective of the project was - maintaining the same common thread in all the dwellings - to show the differences between them, so that diverse exclusivities were also constituted at an aesthetic level, as they were initially conceived under three distinct compositional processes.
The three dwellings have reached the energy class B and not only has their appearance been embellished thanks to the finishes, but also the comfort has been significantly improved.

The Coconut Home
The renovation of this Milanese apartment focuses on the skilful alternation of finishes in coconut white and rust brown, a chromatic homage to the passion for exotic travels of its owner.
In order to optimise the space available, a versatile and multifunctional area has been proposed: a spacious and bright open living room - characterised by the enormous non-standard windows - capable of transforming from a private living room to a work area, meeting space or a party room as needed.
All the facilities have been completely rebuilt and in addition, in order to save management costs and maximise energy efficiency, it has been decided to install state-of-the-art technologies such as mechanical ventilation and home automation, to be able to control remotely the energy supplies of the house as well as alarms and lights. In the damp rooms we find low-consumption taps that reduce up to 70% of the waste of water.
All the details have been designed and defined already at an early stage of project in order to optimize the available space, guaranteeing optimal comfort and satisfying the customer’s requirements for his home.
The set of cladding is the protagonist with its white lacquered wood and rust-colored corten steel that defines and divides the environments, separating the day area from the master bedroom. This spectacular boiserie acts as a bookstore, while hiding storage and service spaces.
In front of it, a large panel hand-painted by a local artist hides the television, the private studio completely cladded in corten and the pantry with refrigerated canteen for the owner’s wine collection.
The distribution of the house is completed - in addition to the large living room, kitchen and bathroom service - with the master bedroom equipped with private bathroom, large dressing room and laundry area.

Villa Juan Sebastián Elcano
The project has consisted of the rehabilitation of a residential villa built in 1940 located in Pedregalejo, an exclusive neighborhood of Malaga.
Special care has been taken to respect to the maximum the existing building, maintaining the original volumetry, the interior spaces and its old garden.
Its new image highlights the façade with a complete lift of its old roof that recovers the blue glazed tile and the incorporation of insulation by natural fir Rockwood panels that raise its energy efficiency.
New spaces have been created inside, respecting the original concept of the project. Among these, the main hall stands out, which has been equipped with an original white marble staircase that connect both floors while generating a large open space, maintaining the authentic character of the construction.
In its interior decoration, microcemento cladding has been combined with flooring in solid recovered antique oak wood. They highlight the exposed brick walls that have been recovered, cleaned and protected with the application of special resins for their conservation, achieving with all this, a perfect symbiosis with the wood carpentry present in the rest of elements of the project.

Villa Chelo
Villa Chelo has meant the transformation of a protected building from 1930 formed by a single family house into three new completely independent homes.
The project was an exciting architectural challenge, for which it was necessary to expand the construction volume, without losing the identity of the old town, thus respecting the protagonism that corresponds to it. For this, the architect solved it by adding a new module of straight lines with ventilated facades of black klinker brick and carpentries in the same tonality, obtaining this way the contrast with the original white paint. The result highlights the characteristic ziggurat-shaped volumetry of the original construction and the new volume that is hidden behind, left in the background.
Another very important work was the recovery of all the original and interesting elements of the building: wooden carpentry, decorative elements and original paintings, both in interiors and facades. With all of this, the refurbishment of the building and the garden, also protected, has been carried out, putting into value the whole complex in a remarkable way.

Santa Lucía
This old building located in the Historic Centre of Malaga belonged at the end of the 19th century to a family of the bourgeoisie of the city dedicated to jewelry. Represents the typical typology of the time with bays parallel and perpendicular to the façade, modulated by load-bearing walls.
In the interior, the carpentries of the building stand out with rich decorations, although austere, and royal proportions, whose mechanisms and knobs have clear modernist references from the beginning of the 20th century. Next to it, the hydraulic floor of the house stands out, located on the second floor of the building, composed of multicolored tiles, changing shadows depending on the room and orientation of the house. An interesting detail are the paintings on the roofs of the ground floor, preserved since its creation.
With a very short execution time, it has been possible to execute a comprehensive refurbishment of wooden roofs and structures, facades and common spaces of the building. In addition, the original courtyard has been restored, a lift has been integrated and the common systems have been completely renovated.

Villa Paraíso Alto - Benahavís (Málaga)
Villa Paraíso Alto has meant the transformation from a traditional style detached house to a new villa with more modern and simple lines. For this purpose, the existing module clad in exposed brick has been preserved and the application with white mortar has been chosen for the exterior walls, among others.
This wonderful building has required the demolition of cornices and decorative elements to generate straight and clean surfaces. In addition, it has managed to break with its white aesthetic monotony, combining tiles of synthetic outdoor flooring in the pool area and exterior carpentries of PVC in anthracite color.
The redesign of the façade has been one of the main renovations of the house. They also highlight new elements like borders in the gardens, the complete landscaping of the exterior areas that give life to the new villa and the construction of an overflowing pool with white gresite cladding integrated by a large format porcelain perimeter floor in shades of sand.
Regarding its constructive remodeling, a new adaptation of the floors has been carried out and the design of both interior and exterior spaces has been optimized, resulting in new spaces that connect visually and generate a feeling of unique environment.

Piso Victoria
Rehabilitation of private housing whose construction dates from 1920, located in Victoria Street, in the Historic Center of Malaga, with a degree of architectural protection II.
Its wide spiral-shaped stairs with wooden steps and wrought iron railings decorated with colourful oval stained glass windows are striking.
Inside, a foyer and magnificent pieces of antique furniture stand out, combining perfectly with other more modern, bringing a special charm to their style and walking in line with the recovery of their original materials and structural elements.
Given the precarious state in which the house was located, it has been necessary to strengthen the old structure by placing new metal beams and replacing in some areas of the wrought iron by new collaborative sheet structures.
The original hydraulic tile floor has been restored taking advantage of the areas in better condition and replenishing the rest with wooden floors. Some of the recovered material has been used for the flooring of the bathrooms, combining it with current ceramic cladding.
The interior courtyards have been completely renovated, enabling access to the smallest with the installation of a galvanized tramex and replacing the entire glazed front of the main.
